Music and Dance Club

The Music and Dance club runs in the first and third terms of the school year. Boys and girls from 5th and 6th classes rehearse every week and often at lunchtimes too for Christmas and summer performances. At Christmas they entertained everyone with songs and dances from the musical Oliver. Last summer the children performed a variety of dances to songs including 'Lean On Me' and Rhianna's 'Umbrella'. They also sang a great version of 'This Little Light of Mine'.
Over the years, performances of 'Cinderella in Stoneybatter' and the Nativity have also been performed.


Last summer the children took part in the "St. Gabriel's School Musical"!
The children sung and danced to songs from High School Musical, Slumdog Millionaire and more and Dublin's Lord Mayor was there to watch it too!
